Genetic Genealogy

Being able to trace your roots has become even easier using science. Faster methods of sequencing DNA has resulted in more and more data being available to the average consumer.At Migrations Genealogy, we strive to help you get what you want out of DNA testing. We offer the following support

1. Which genealogy test should I use? That depends on what you want out of it. We offer a half hour, brief consultation, to see which DNA testing service is most appropriate to your needs.
2. Okay!  I have my results.  Now what do I do?  We offer consultation in person (Albuquerque/Santa Fe metro only) or by Skype to help you get the most out of your DNA results.  In addition, we can help you navigate exciting new features on many of the testing sites that will allow you construct your family tree and connections to your DNA relative.  Using science!  How cool is that?  

Our rates are $45 an hour, minimum charge 1 hour.   If we are meeting you more than 5 miles outside of Albuquerque, we will also charge mileage (or travel time plus the cost of a roundtrip RoadRunner ticket).
